I’ve been making photographs for over a decade, and in that time, I’ve learned to spot moments - big or small - and to treat all of them as equally important. When it comes to your big day, I want you to feel confident that my eyes and mind never stop working for you and only you. The day goes fast (even for me!), so it’s my ultimate goal to ensure that you can relive the dearest moments of your life. We’ll get to know each other, make a plan, and then you can leave the rest to me.

There’s a lot of variables that go into planning your moments. Sometimes, there are things you can’t account for — okay, the weather, mostly! That said, I draw on all of my past experiences to create memorable images, no matter the time or condition of the day. Inside or out, rain or shine, I’m ready for whatever life throws at us. You’d be surprised how much landscape photography knowledge comes in handy for people shoots.

I know this sounds cliché, but it’s cliché for a reason — I care deeply about you and your big event. We’re all on the same Earth, and we all experience the highs, lows, and quirks that come with living on it. I don’t just want to book your session, ask about your photo preferences, and move on — let’s meet, grab a bite to eat, and chat about the things that are important to you. I like to befriend my clients, not just book them; that way, when your favorite song from middle school comes on the DJ’s speakers, I’ll know exactly who to find. Knowing the people I’m photographing is as important as the process itself.

I like to think that I blend in while being in the middle of the action. My style is journalistic, and my edits are clean — I don’t want to ruin these moments with oversaturated looks or quirky color grading. I strive to enhance the moment, not stage it or present it differently. It’s important that we both enter into a relationship knowing a bit about me and my photo style, so that it’s one less thing for you to worry about!
